The European
Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
provides UK residents reimbursement of certain state medical
costs incurred in another EU country and is valid in all European Community countries plus
Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Norway. Every motorhomer should obtain a free EHIC before travelling. Many insurance
companies now require its use first, before a claim
can made on your Personal Travel Insurance.
